In the latest version of AE (2015) when I send anything to render and start the render queue the window automatically changes back to the timeline that is currently rendering instead of staying in the render queue as it used to before.

Is there a way to revert to the old way?

    Thanks in advance.

As a workaround, you could move the render queue to another spot so it’s not a tab in the same window. It sounds like a glitch or something with your workspace. Try resetting it to the default and see if it happens then. try a different workspace. Try closing the timeline for all compositions before rendering. Hopefully something there works.

It definitely has to be a glitch, but your workaround is a good idea. Thanks
I’ll file a bug report with Adobe later today.

    Best,
