  • Moving objects around a mask path

I have four objects positioned at various points around a circular mask path. I want them all to move around the mask path. I understand how to copy the path on to the position of a null (control) object and then parent one of the objects to the controller. However if I parent all of the objects to the null they don’t move around the same path. Basically I want each object’s start position to be it’s respective position along the path. What expression do i need to write to make that work?

    Thanks,
    Garrett

Instead of moving null around the mask path, place the null in the center of your 4 objects, parent the objects to the null, then just rotate the null.
