  Resolve 12 – Matte not lining up to clip

  When attaching my Matte to my Clip in Resolve the Matte is an inch off. But, when checking the size and placement in Premiere the Matte and the Clip line up perfectly for the entire span of the clip.

  What’s going on here?

  The matte being h.264 and the clip being pro res is what created the problem. Exported the Matte as pro res and problem solved.
