    Hello everyone !

In order to prepare for a future shooting, I made some tests shots using Magic Lantern MLV format, to test the workflow and grading. Here’s my problem : After quickly grading and exporting 422 Prores HQ, I noticed on every frame, some small dots (which seem to be slightly coloured) have appeared in the center of the image :

    Zoomed in here :

I also have other issues, on some shots the highlights are flickering, and lastly on one shot, every other frame is like this :

Is this Resolve related ? (I know my graphic card is not supported – Intel Iris Pro 1536 Mo on a 2014 macbook pro-) Could this may be because of the MLV ? (Once again, I’ve been shooting these on a pretty cheap Canon DSLR -T3i- so I don’t know…)

    Cheers,

    Vincent.

I would not trust Magic Lantern with anything. I’ve yet to see trouble free footage from that mess.

Yes, that could be the issue… I’m using MLVMystic, any known problem with it ?

    try using this one:
    https://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=9560.0

you’ll find the tutorial also on the linked page. it has never failed me 🙂
also, if that doesn’t fix the problem, try checking if you have “force sizing to highest quality” and “force debayer resolution to highest quality” in deliver tab, also, try exporting the DPX sequence instead of prores, could be that your quicktime encoder is bugged..
