    Hello,
I have a big problem. I am unable to open a project. Resolve crashed when I was doing rendering. And since then, I can not open the project. I can export it, import it but not open the new version. I also tried to create a new database: the project still does not open.

Everything else works perfectly for months, I did several rendering of the same project without any problem. I haven’t changed anything in the configuration. My last saved version works perfectly. But it is several days old…

    Resolve 11.1.3 here.

    Any idea?

I am wasting work days 🙁

No straight answer but please contact BMD support.
Rohit was able to help me with a similar problem fixing the file.
Do it right away or even post the WeTransfer link here.

    Thank you.
    Unfortunately, BMD just answered that:

It appears as though the project has been corrupted as it will not open in a new database.
I am afraid that we are unable to repair this as information can be lost from the XML if it is not closed correctly.
This can happen when the project is not closed correctly causing errors in the project XML.
Resolve is then unable to retrieve or read the XML file in order to open the project.
We do always recommend saving and backing up the project at multiple stages throughout the process and backing up the database so that you can roll back should a project become corrupt.
I would recommend rolling back to your last saved version of the project.

    🙁
