    Concerning RAW footage from BMCC:

I have imported DNG RAW files into AE cs6, selected my takes and cropped in the timeline. Used no effects but did adjust Bridge when importing clips.

I did not have Davici installed, I do now.

It was a lot of work to make my selections and crop in AE.

Is there a way to safe this and open in Resolve the native DNG RAW files so I can continue in Davinci? I absolutely want to stay RAW.

you have edited your show in a program not really made for editing.
I don’t think AE has any list output options, but I could be wrong there. Your best bet might be sending to Premiere and getting premiere to create a list.

There also used to be some After effects/automatic duck usage, but I’m not positive it would create a list out of AE, perhaps only into AE.

You may have to bite the bullet and start over in the correct program.

You wouldn’t be the first, probably won’t be the last to learn things the hard way.

I thought one of the sales points for the Adobe ecology was “sharesies” among all the applications?

So the way to re-access your RAW files in Resolve is to re-create the list by washing it through Premiere as Glenn suggests — then export either an XML or AAF (if possible) that will at least call the sequence. If not you will perhaps be forced to hand-compile an EDL of some sort (paper edit? — when was the last time you heard that term?).

After Effects does have a save to:

    after effects XML project

    Would that be an option?

I can not tried it as my Dvinci does not open cause of my video card, but Im working on that.

AE xml should be something different from FCP XML exported from Premire.

There is a catch. I think if you import your AE project in Premiere it sees it as AE still.

You have to test it but for now it seems to me the workflow may not work out like that.
You need to play with that a bit and see.
