Pages Tab not showing in Davinci Resolve (Macbook Pro Retina)
Hi guys, I recently just picked up a new rMBP for myself, and I have a very noob problem as I just started using OS X. 🙂
As you can’t see, I have no clue where the pages tab is.P.S. My display scaling is set to best (retina)

change your display settings to “more space”

Mixing Light Powered By The Tao Of Color -
On the View menu go down to User Interface Layout and then click Show Window Frame. You can then resize (i.e. maximize) the window using the standard OSX “green circle” button at upper-left of the window and you should see the MEDIA, EDIT, COLOR and DELIVER buttons across the bottom.
I had the same issue here on a monitor which is only 1600×900. Unfortunately it seems you need to click the green circle/maximize button each time you launch, though you should not need to seek out and click Show Window Frame each time.

It amazes me that a software developer can release a product (even a free one, and yes I’m grateful) where a certain significant population of users will immediately crash right into a wall on first use. I spent an hour just trying to figure out where all the functionality was, downloaded the user manual (which of course just says look, the pages tab is right there, but it’s not) and found myself ready to write off the whole project.
I’m already expecting Resolve to be a painful learning curve, since they hid the keys to the kingdom right from the get-go, and obviously are oblivious to how the most basic functions might not be readily apparent.
Truly, if you hadn’t laid out simple step-by-step instructions, I’d have given up and gone to bed.

yeah, had the exact same infuriating problem. watching all these tutorials, but had no way to get started because my screen didn’t have the same tools. bad form, Black Magic.
