  • Conforming R3D’s when the transcoded proxies names have been changed

    Hi,

I have an old project that has several r3d files that were transcoded with FCP 7 log and transfer and whose filenames weren’t kept the same as original r3d. Is there anyway to manually re link the files with the r3d’s? Since it is only like 10 clips it would be way easier to just manually try and re link those to original 4k r3d then to re transcode and re edit.

    Thanks in advance!

if the timecode is right you can:
    – go to Conform windows
    – on the left side select the desired clip in the media pool tab
    – on the timeline select the desired clip
    – right click, and ‘force conform to selected clip in media pool”
