  • Davinci Resolve 10 Lite – export aaf/xml greyed out. Why?

    Hi everyone,

I just imported an xml-project using CineformHD avis into DV 10 Lite which worked just fine using the import under edit.

I also rendered the files into avis which also worked fine.

Now that I want to export the xml back into vegas I have to find out that “Export aaf/xml” is greyed out. What am I doing wrong? Also other files imported into DV10 Lite cannot imported as a aaf or xml project. For me the export worked fine using DV9 Lite in the past.

    Thanks for your help!

It sounds like your timeline is not selected. Select the timeline in the top LHS timeline list and right click to select to export XML.

I dont understand your second issue. Can you clarify?

Is there a button to highlight the entire timeline?

Is there a button that highlights the entire timeline? When I shift/select all the clips, the “export aaf/xml” is still greyed out.

In DaVinci Lite 11, you have to select the “Edit” tab to export XML. However, do know that any color information will not transfer over if doing XML. You must export from the “Deliver” tab for color info to be added.
