Trying to Render Super Wide 16768×48 Pixels, Coming out Black.
So i’m trying to render this super wide video and convert to AVI, I am rendering Photo.jpg and coming out black.
I’m able to render a JPG sequence that is 16768 wide and 48 pixels tall that works but how can I convert this image sequence to AVI?
Please help, Running a mac with After Effects 2015.0.1

What are you trying to do with this resolution?

It’s almost certainly a stadium fascia board.
Andrew, can you explain step-by-step what and how you are outputting, what you’re using to transcode, and where the process fails?

Hello Everyone,
So I have gotten some answers and I do in fact have to create a final render this being an uncompressed AVI at 16768 pixels wide and 48 pixels tall at 30FPS.
In responds to Walter it is a stadium Fascia board. Also I am outputting .JPG image sequence out of After Effects on a Mac and trying to create the AVI file using MPEG Streamclip.
In responds to David these are the concrete specs as far as delivery of the video and not sure exactly how it is being played back, with what system but it is for a stadium Fascia board. The client was asked if we could use multiple animations and they said no just the wide super wide one.
What is the best way to create an uncompressed AVI file on a mac from a .JPG image sequence?
Or what is a better method to get from After Effects to my file delivery?Thank You very very much for any help getting this project done!

AVI is really old and I’m not sure that resolution is even possible in that format.

The specs make sense. Many of these arena ribbon LEDs run systems that use uncompressed AVI at the native resolution of the whole array. 16768×48 is absolutely doable in AVI.
Ae on a PC can output directly to AVI with these specs. Maybe try a demo of Episode, Squeeze, or some other compression program?

That resolution compeletely kills AME when I tried it. I can pick the resolution but the program crashes instantly when I try to render it.

I’ll probably try and use the demo of one of those compression programs.
Worse comes to worse they will get a static graphic in place of a quickly animated in and out graphic.
