I’m trying to restore an old database to Resolve 9.1.3. It goes through the upgrade process fine but when I try to launch into the admin profile it crashes the program. My current DB works fine. Any ideas? The old DB was only from the 9.1.2 from what I recall.

Resolve 9.1.3 has a potential issue with PostgreSQL databases. If the particular user has 2 projects in the database with the same name but different case, i.e. Test and test, Resolve 9.1.3 will crash when you log in as that user. This will be fixed in the next release. In the meantime, you can either revert to Resolve 9.1.1, or stay with 9.1.3, login as a different user, and in the Project Manager page, Import the required projects from the bad user to the current user, by selecting the soccer ball looking icon in the lower left.

That’s good to know. Hopefully I won’t need to jump into any old projects soon but now I know how. Thanks!
