    Dear all,

I have a problem with the Avid / DaVinci Roundtrip workflow.

I exported my avid sequence as an AAF, imported in in DaVinci and wanted to start grading.

The problem is, DaVinci Resovle automatically groups all the shots I used that come from the same source clip. I mean I have one long master shot, which I used several times in the sequence – and DaVinci wants to apply the same correction automatically to all of them.

You can see it in the timeline if several shots come from the same source clip: there’s a little red sign above the image.

I would like to grade every shot from the film seperatly, even if it comes from the same source clip.
So is there a way to unlink those?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Before you begin, in the Color tab, you can right click on the timeline and select “Use Local Grades”, this will unlink from the source. If you have already applied a grade to your source I would save a still of it first as it will remove anything you applied so far. Hope that helps
