  • Da Vinci Resolve crashes when imported AAF

My export out of AVID (first transcode the sequence, then copy all media with an AAF export), wouldn’t open in Resolve. When I try to import it in resolve, it will crash after I’ve chosen the location of the media files.

Can anybody help me with it?

Did you try to load the mediafiles into the mediapool without the aaf? Can resolve read them?

    Yes, they do work well.
I can only open the sequence with an EDL, but it is in the wrong order.

You could export as one clip and do a preconform with the edl, or run it thru scene detection. Other then that it’s hard to figure out from your post what could possibly be wrong. Maybe some effects or timewarps in the timeline?

I’ve had some Tiff-sequences in my sequence and some fillers in my timeline.
I did make a videomixdown of both of them, then it will import without problems in Resolve.
