    As far as I can tell the only way to view a clip in track one if there are clips on top of it in track two is to go to the conform page and turn off track 2 – is this correct?

    You can go into “unmix” mode by selecting the unmix tab on the bottom right… then you will only see the selected clip regardless of what’s above it, and without any transitions…

    Depending on what it is you’re trying to do, you can use the “Unmix” tab then click on the lower video clip in the mini timeline to view it.
