PC Resolve XML conform not working
I’m having trouble conforming from Final Cut Pro XML to a PC-Resolve. The clips don’t connect, the timeline appears as black clips with a red X. On the same XML and my Macbook Pro, it works like a charm, a single click and all connects fine. I’ve tried on timelines that are Media Managed to Prores HQ. The clips can be worked with if I import them one by one to media pool, but no connection with XML import. Any ideas?
Resolve runs very nicely on a PC, but at least on the beta version it’s a pain to get media into the application. Many codecs that work on a mac don’t work on PC. It’s possible to render a quicktime and use Scene cut detection, but on a show with a lot of dissolves etc it’s quite frustrating.
