  AAF Sequence, EDL but one Clip, Grading affects all Clips!

  Hi,

  i am working with resolve lite.
  Now i have the following problem:
  i import a sequence as an aaf. the sequence is cut in avid and is made out of one clip, so one mxf file.
  now i see the edits in the timeline of confirm and in the color mode.
  BUT: every grade i make, affects ALL clips.
  i think the problem is that everything is made out of one clip.
  in the conform mode i have just one clip in the media pool, but in the conform edl i see all the edits. and i see the edits in the color mode. but every thumbnail there has a red bar on it. and every change i make affects the hole track. like i would have created the node in the track window.

  can someone please help me?

  That’s correct. The red bar indicates continuity of the grade being applied across the clip.

  Check the manual for “local versions” to apply different grades to each notched event.

  Just two clicks, but when you don´t know it, it can be horrible…
