  What specs for RT Dual 3D SDI monitoring?

  I noticed when enabling Dual 3D SDI monitoring I cannot get real time playback, the most I get is 40 fps, where it should play at 48 fps.
  I have a Mac Pro built to specs, but I cannot find any information about what do I need in order to get 2 full resolution SDI playing in 3D.
  This project I am testing it on are two streams of DPXs at 1920 X 1080.

  My specs are:

  MacPro 4,1
  6BG RAM
  Internal Raid 0 10 TB @ 475 mb/s
  GT120
  GTX 285
  BlackMagic Decklink 3D +

  Is it more processor, GPU or ram that I need?

  I doubt your Raid can play two HD streams at the same time.
  You not only need the 220 for one continuous, the disks also have to change position all the time to relocate the heads.
  I have 4 black caviar disks and I get 550 from them.
  That is barely enough for dual HD on 24p, but not consistent.
  Its also a 5.1 Mac and a fast graphic card.
  CPU or RAm wont do anything, I am afraid.

  I thought so too, but I am able to play 3D side by side at 24 fps, as far as the disk accessing the media I assume it shouldn’t make a difference how the output is configured, but I could be wrong.

  One thing I forgot to mention is that this is just playback without any grades added, and one single shot.

  Are you able to get 48 fps with the setup you have?
