  Audio Hiss coming from Decklink Extreme 3D HDSDI output?

  Hi All,
  We don’t do that much audio monitoring through our Decklink but we needed to recently and there was a very noticeable audio hiss coming from both A and B outputs. We really dug into the issue and it was happening across multiple HDSDI audio disembedding monitors and from 2 different Decklink Extreme cards in different workstations. We tried swapping cables and used direct connection to rule out our HDSDI routing and switches. We tried playing out of both Resolve and Final Cut. No avail… the hiss remains. Additionally… when playing back the same content over the HDSDI out from our Kona card the hiss is completely gone. Ergo in has to be something going on in the Decklink Extreme 3D cards.

  Is anyone else having this issue?
