Always stop at 99% of render queue.
Posted by Nick Anderson on September 16, 2011 at 7:41 pmWhenever I wanted to use the render queue, it always freeze at the last frame of the first job.
I tried several times, every time with different setups like resolution, complexity and storage location.
That’s just so frustrating…
Can’t even get a clue where should I start to fix this problem.
Anyone has some problem as mine?Nick

September 17, 2011 at 2:53 amFrom something I noticed, I think I might found the reason cause this nasty 99% issue.
In fact, there’s always one or two missing frames in the render sequence. Source image is fine, and missing frame location is random. The render batch freezes at 99% is in fact freeze at the missing one or two frames..Nick

September 17, 2011 at 4:17 amHi Nick,
Would you be able to send us logs and the exported project?
You can capture logs using the Capture Logs application in /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVInci Resolve/. Running the app will create a log file on your Desktop. You may email them to davincihelp at blackmagic-design.com. Please capture logs as soon as the problem happens, and before restarting Resolve.
Other information that would be useful to know:
Does the render fail at a specific clip or is the failure random?
Does the problem happen only in batch mode rendering?
What format are you rendering to?
What format is your source footage in?Vivek Vedagiri

September 19, 2011 at 3:28 pmHi Vivek.
As the problem happens random, I will capture the log as soon as it happens again.
As far as I noticed
the fail frames are random
I’m rendering to DPX 10bits sequence
Source is also DPX 10bits sequence -

December 4, 2013 at 7:42 pmHi,
I had a same thing. It’s kind of ridiculous what’s causing it and what’s the solution. Please take 1 minute to resolve this issue and go on with your editing/grading:
