Double check you were supplied with Mac cards. They should have a MAC sticker on them. My vendor didn’t… so I know have two PC versions sitting here doing nothing as he won’t take them back.

in theory they should work nicely.

do you use one as gpu and the other as gui ?

i would put 120 in slot 3 for gui. just an idea.

The current correct Nvidia driver for those in 10.6.8 is: 256.02.25f01. That does not match what you say you are using, so that could be an issue. Also make sure you have the Aux power connectors connected to both cards. I’ve gotten a lot of calls from people who don’t hook up the Aux power connectors when they install a Q4000.
Do you see the cards in the System Profiler properly?

I had the Quadro 4000 a little early (vendor told me that Nvidia had driver problems) so I was SOL for a few weeks. Even after a fix it was good for awhile then OS X updated and killed the working drivers.
Sorry its been so long since but you have to find the right drivers that matches the OS.

I was having similar problems with a single Quadro 4000. Kernel panics and other assorted flakiness. Correct drivers didn’t fix it. I ultimately did an RMA through my vendor and got another card. No problems since then. Apparently rare, but bad cards do happen. If you have one that’s working and one that’s not, it sure points in the direction of a suspect card.

I finally got a replacement. But now the Davinci is recognizing only 1 GPU. I see 2 NVIDIA Quadro 4000 in my Mac’s System Profile.

if you have only 2 gpus in the machine then it is normal. Resolve uses on for processing and the other for ui. I have not tested it but if you had 120 + 2x 4000 then there could be option to have power of two 4000 units.
