  No QTs / R3Ds into the proxy manager..why ?

  Hi there, is there a reason for this ?
  I mean,it would make things so much easier if I could just load a bunch of shady H264 Canon clips , Red and DVs into the proxy manager and make nice DPXs out of them in native resolution.

  I agree! I guess the thought is its not really a proxy at that point. What I do is render my r3d conform to dpx and parse preconform from edl.
