Hello,I want to take my macbook pro17 to the shooting place.

someone has already tested? what precaution to take?

what the best workflow? is just to make same primary correction, and then export to my workstation , the office.

the best way is the ‘ColorTrace CDL’??

I would recommend just exporting out the project, and you can import the project into the main Resolve Linux/Mac workstation.

CDL would limit you to primaries and saturation only.

Well luckily, I decide what to shoot 🙂 Only Alexa for me now until I have done a proper test with the Epic.
Obviously when shooting RED I use RED tools too for checks (R3Dmanager and RCX) but I always have a DIT who does the main job.
As DOP I concentrate on looks, lighting levels etc. It’s nice to have my own machine to work with and I usually ask the DIT to copy everything to my personal HD or I grab the card from the camera. For RED I have a very fast Expresscard reader to read the CF cards. Not sure how it will go with the new SSD units.
