How can I reproduce this animation?
Hello!
I’m trying to make an intro (I’m very new when it comes to AE) and I was wondering if anyone could assist me in telling me what this animation is called and how could I reproduce it.

I’d call that “animated mask reveal”.
You would need a solid layer above the text layer, draw one or two masks per letter on that layer, and animate the paths over time to reveal the letters as if they were “drawn on”. The animation could be a simple rectangles that pull out or a more complex shapes that reveal the letters as if someone was drawing them (all letters at the same time).
You would set the solid wiht the animated masks as the track matte for the text layer.

You can done this only by using masks and text layer
