    Can I run DaVinci Resolve on i7 cpu? Because I planning to buy a Macbook pro for onset grading.

    Hi Angus,

    Just make sure you get the 17″ MacBook Pro as Resolve requires 1920 x 1200 resolution.

    If the MacBook has a GeForce card, or preferably two – yes.

    Hello Christopher Tay long time no see I am using the DaVinci Resolve for Mac now. Because I see the manuals in Resolve it say just for i5 Macbook pro. Do you have been test it in i7 cpu?

    Good to hear from you and happy to see you’re using Resolve now 🙂

    We recently ran a Resolve 101 training class with the 17″ i7 MacBook Pro and they worked fine so you’re good to go 🙂

    I’ll let you know when we have firmed up the date for our next Resolve 101 training class…tentatively it’s planned for Jan 2011.
