    Hi,
I am a scratch user that is looking into Nucoda 2010.
I had the chance to work on Film master 2010 last week. I really loved it. There were 2 things I could not find on the program that were driving me nuts.

I applied a grade to a clip (levels) I then wanted to compare it to the Original plate. On Scratch, we simply toggle the Grade/On/Off to quickly see any grades. On Nucoda, it seems that I had to Make a copy of the raw plate and use that for a compare.

Isn’t there a way to bypass all grades & shapes with a toggle button?
If there is, I could not find it.

    2nd,
    Dual mode.
Is there a way to “move” the 2nd viewer(compare image) and place it anywhere you need it.
    For example,
    Placing A over B, and offseting it in X & Y
With scratch, this is very easy.
    Anyone know?

On first question, just toggle on keyboard keys “W” and “Q”. Nuff said…
On second, I do not know. Never had a need for it, but I’m sure it can be done…

There should be a “Byp All” button on the panel that let’s you see your original grade.

I was wondering if there’s a similar button on the resolve. Anyone?

    thanks

I believe the up/down buttons on the keyboard will toggle all nodes on/off in Resolve. Not sure what the key is on the panels.

    Hi guys,
thanks, I did figure it out after I posted. I pressed every keyboard button until I found it. 🙂

I guess I got spoiled from using Scratch, I can move my compare image anywhere I want. This allows me to overlap parts of the image that you can not get with a standard “Split or Wipe” view.

    I don’t think it is possible, bummer…
