I must say Broken Kingdom is looking Spectacular!!! Spent about 30 hours color timing the feature this weekend using 2k dpx frames I created from my red camera 4k,3k and 5d conform.
Just wrapped 7 hours of review with the director.. A couple more passes and its a wrap..
He is loving the look of the film.
3 more jobs waiting in the wings and booked solid at my freelance gig at the big house.
    Its good to be busy.

Gaining a little speed with the wave, keyboard, waycom and g22. But keep looking for my favorites on the panels.
What i would give for a set of panels. 🙂

Good to hear. Is it bad of me to envy the schedule you have ahead? 🙂 Wish more people in this country would value this art and craft more than just using drag-and-drop presets from Magic Bullet !! (in many cases, that’s what they think I do and they’re upset when they hear my rates….)

I’ve already pestered Darin about writing about his experience for Creative COW Magazine. Look for it soon.

A reminder, though: anybody here who wants a blog has one, at blogs.creativecow.net. If you’re logged in, you should be good to go.

If you already have a blog and would like to syndicate it through the COW, click on “Settings” in the upper right of your browser to edit your COW profile. Or I can save you moving your eyeballs all the way up there: just click this link: https://secure.creativecow.net/account/edit

On the Blogs tab of your profile, you’ll see where to paste your blog’s RSS feed. Trust me, a lot easier than it sounds. From then on, whatever you post on your blog, wherever it’s hosted, will magically appear at blogs.creativecow.net.

The thing is, if you have a blog, it’s presumably so somebody will read it, right? So push it through the COW. We’re all about trying to draw a crowd to what you do.

And Darin, get back to work, man. I need my article! 🙂

    Thanks guys !!

I thought this was a blog.. lol Guess I need to do some more homework.. Always learning..

Tim, I am just about finished with the entire process. Conform, Color correction and now working on the dcp. xyz 16bit tiffs to the final dcp package.
At the same time diving into several more workflows and delivery requirements.. I have documented some interesting info.
    Looking forward to meeting soon.
