Customizing the Tangent Wave
Posted by Vladimir Kucherov on September 19, 2010 at 2:00 amI’m finally getting a chance to sit down and test out Resolve. Exciting stuff! But as I’m going through I’m seeing a lot of blank spaces on many of the Wave button banks, spaces I’d like to fill.
Also, as of right now I have no idea what the F1-F9 buttons quite do.
Is there a thorough rundown on how the Wave is configured by default? And can we customize it?

Is there a way to store and recall memories from the panel?

September 20, 2010 at 12:10 pmWave Mapper is not available for Resolve right now. BlackMagic has actually done the initial programming for the panel.
I know that Tangent hopes to be able to customize the panel controls at some point, but there is no timetable for implementation at this time.
I will say the Wave is quite snappy with Resolve though.

September 20, 2010 at 1:42 pmMan I get scared when I hear things like “there’s no timetable for implementation at this time”
I really hope that translates to somewhat soon at least!

October 21, 2010 at 5:30 amHas anyone figured out how to increase sensitivity of the individual knobs for resolve on Tangent Wave?
(Gain,Saturation,Zoom, etc) all move Very Slow. ALL (HUE,SAT,LUM) Qualifiers Can be Adjusted .Every other knob has a default of LOW Sensitivity.
Thanks
