  Null object, beam and parenting

  Hi all,

  I’ve been trying to create a crane. I have a steel bar, a wire and a hook.
  I created a beam to represent the wire, with starting point a null object anchor on the top edge of the steel bar, and ending point the anchor point of the hook. But when I parent the null object to the steel bar (the bar rotates up and down but from the opposite edge) the beam starting point shifts to the left up corner of my composition. Any ideas why?
