    Hi all !

I’ve been using After Effects for a while so consider myself an advanced user, but this one has stumped me…

    I’m animating this Amuzo logo…

I’d like to animate this gradient effect in the circled area on the attached logo.

I’d like it so that the gradient changes depending on the speed of the rotation, giving it some motion, and making it feel more real.

I tried to use a simple Motion Blur, but it wasn’t really enough. How the motion blur reacted with the change in speed was great, but the degree of the blur does need to look the same as it does on the logo.

Any ideas you clever lot ?

    Thanks,
    Sam

A radial blur might give you a finer degree of control. You could tie the amount of blur to the rotation speed using an expression.
