  Live streaming to YouTube

  Hi guys. I’ve been editing on-site in OB vans for quite sometime now. My clients want to start streaming 5 hrs of golf (PAL, SD) live to YouTube. I already have a 2010 MBP and Matrox MX02. I’ll get the SDI feed from the desk. If I buy Wirecast, can I start streaming straight to YouTube. Do I need to buy any additional software or hardware? Or subscriptions? From Telestream’s website, I didn’t get any info about this. Thanks a lot in advance.

  If you have a YouTube channel with 100 or more subscribers you can enable it for live streaming.
  Wirecast can stream directly to YouTube. There’s an Easy Setup for that.
  YouTube step by step to create a live event. In Setting Up Your Encoder they have instructions for Wirecast.
