  Assigning just audio from ADVC HD50 to DTP

  Hi Craig,

  Slight dilemma. My camera outputs HDMI and we have been using the ADVC HD 50s successfully to broadcast through Wirecast 4.1 What has me stumped at the moment is how I can assign just the audio to a powerpoint slide coming in on Desktop Presenter.I have a workaround which is just to layer the slide over the video but there has to be a better way. Am I missing something?

  On Firewire, the audio is tied to the video.
  In addition to what you’re doing you can change the opacity of the video to 0% so there’s no chance it bleeds through on the edges.
