  • Sending and inverting transformation from layer to camera (moving solid to static camera)

Posted by Matteo Grossi on July 1, 2015 at 9:24 pm

    Hi everybody,
in AE i have a 3D solid layer with keyed transformation (position and rotation) and a static camera.

I would like to send all the transformations from the 3d layer to the camera.

Everything must be screen relative, as i am using the plane to replace the content of a cellphone previously tracked with PfTrack.

There is any expression or particular technique for that?

I am using pftrack, exporting the tracking information to 3d studio max and then sending everything to AE.

    Hope you can help.

I would suggest tracking the object newly with AE 3D camera tracker.
