Hello, I’m looking to create realistic fire ( in a fireplace ) I was told that particular is the way to do it. Does anyone know of any tutorials to do something like this or if it can be done with particular?

    I appreciate your response

Check out Trapcode’s page on Particular, download the demo to try it out. At the bottom you can also download the Pyro Pack, a collection of AE projects that use Particular for fire, smoke, and explosions.
