  Final Cut Express Audio Speed Issue

  I use FINAL CUT EXPRESS

  I have a video Clip that is 10 minutes long and a separate audio device I recorded with that turned out to be 10:03 (3 seconds longer). I have tried to speed up the audio by going to “Modify” > “Speed” > “Duration” and changing the duration to fit the duration of the video…It says is sped things up and shortened BUT when I go back to the audio it turns out that it CUT OFF PART OF THE AUDIO TO MAKE IT SHORTENED TO 10 MINUTES EVEN.

  I NEED HELP…I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO FIX THIS FOR 2 WEEKS…I HAVE READ AT LEAST 100 THREADS BUT TO NO AVAIL…I FINALLY HAVE DECIDED TO WRITE ONE MYSELF…HOPING FOR HELP.
