    Hi guys,

Hope you can help with something.

I have a shape. Imagine a circle filled with stripes.

This is created by making a stripe pattern and then using a circle as a clipping mask.

What I want to do now is cut a square out of the stripey inside bit but I can’t make a compound object due to the clipping mask.

Any ideas how I can cut a shape out of that?

    Thanks,

    Moog

Sounds like you will need to release the clipping mask first, make your changes and then reapply the clipping mask. Please post your progress and any images you can. 🙂

    Save early. Save often.

    Thanks for the advice!

Somehow I managed to get it working … i’m still not entirely sure how 😉

    Thanks though,

    Moog
