Excuse me if this is a stupidly simple question but how can I join a number of objects with gaps between them together? Filling the gaps essentially.

I have this from a client

Each segment of the rope is a different object. I want to create a solid version without the gaps between so that I have one solid path I can take into After Effects as a mask.

    Thank you.

Could you draw a path on top of the rope, then set the weight to achieve the desired thickness.
