I have an odddly-shaped area I need to fill with text, but everything I’ve tried doesn’t quite do it. I just need to grab individual corners of the bounding boxes for each letter and drag them to a specific spot to make the letters fill the space fully. Is there a way to make ‘Free Tramsform’ perform like it used to in older versions of Illustrator where you could grab a single corner of the bounding box and drag it wherever you wanted?

The area is shaped a crescent area with horizontal text orientation. The text I’m trying to put in the space is GAMES. The version of Illustrator I’m using is CS6 on an iMac running Mountain Lion.

    Help?
