    Hi

When I create a table by going to Object > path > split into grid….so far so good. But when I want to type something into the table cells with the text tool… the stroke of the cell disappears.

This leads to another problem because when I go to align tool, to center the text with the table cell, I cant seem to select both the cell and the text to align them. Of course the cell not having a stroke doesn’t make it easier!

    THanks

I suspect that when you enter the text your turning the squares into text objects.
Would it be possible to select the grid and Copy/Paste in Front. Lock the lower stroked grid, and type on the upper grid?
