Hello all. First time on the forum here. We just installed CS6 at work and I’m trying to get a feel for it. I’d like to transform a line of text to fill out an irregular shape (this text will then be inserted into a logo. The shape is the negative space I’m attempting to fill with text. Is there an EASY way to do this without manipulating each anchor point? I’ve tried an Envelope Distort but it doen’t give me fine enough control to make the text follow the sharp angles of the shape. Any help would be appreciated. I’m attaching a .jpg to show you which shape I’m attempting to fill. Thank you!

This may be a bit too basic for this forum. I’d recommend taking an online course in Illustrator. There is a One-On-One course at Lynda.com where one of his videos addresses how to work with lines. Hope this helps.
