  Trying To Fix My Graphic, Want to Apply font effect to an object created from a different font

  I want to make the H inside of the heart look distressed like the way the rest of the font is, they are two different fonts. I made the heart a live paint object so I could paint the inside white instead of its natural showing through black on the background. The white however after does not match the rest of the font because it is not distressed. any Ideas how I can remedy this?

  Can you isolate some of the cracks from the letters, than combine them with the ‘H’, just overlaying them or with Pathfinder?
