    Hey guys,

im trying to figure out the best method of creating a 3D looking, rounded edge rectangle shape in Illustrator (Similar to the bevel/emboss layer style in Photoshop).

Does anyone have a tutorial or any tips on how i can achieve this?

    Thanks in advance.

Probably a bunch of ways you could do this. My initial thought would be to use the Appearance panel to add new fills to the object.
Select an object in the attached file and open the Appearance palette, the effects used on each fill are available. Also look at the Transparency palette for the fills.

When you complete a style in this way, you can drag it into the Graphic Styles palette to reuse it.
