  convert a fill to a stroke?

  Hi
  I am currently creating svg graphics for future software. This software is for kids and they will be able to edit my illustrations. Change color rotate etc.

  I have been drawing the images by hand, scanning them into photoshop and then importing into illustrator where I then live trace the image. A black line drawing appears. I then expand and fill the cartoon image with various colors.

  My problem is when this illustration when I live trace I like the way the black line is traced when it is a fill.

  I think its not editing correctly because the black lines need to be strokes.

  Can you convert a fill into a stroke?
