    Hi,

I’m in a bit of a pickle and I wonder if any Craetive cow member could give me some advice.

There’s this new project coming up, where the client is in need of some web 2.0/Iphone style logo’s…
To be fair I’ve never really had to deal with this style of designs. I work for a large company who had a certain classic clean style and I kept all my designs in a similar style (no transparancies or gradients, clean and simple paths, etc…).

Now I’m doing some tests, creating the requested effect was easy, but now I’m a bit stumped by how ugly and complex my paths look.
I was also thaught you need to flatten transparancy, but that leaves me with very ugly stich artefacts, which are visible on-screen.

How would you post produce these kind of logo’s/icons?
    Unaltered ai as base,
    flattened ai/eps for print
and High resolution png and tiff based on the unaltered for web?
Is this the only sollution, or is there a way to create 1 clean all-purpose file?

    Added testfile for reference:
