Ok so I am totally lost on what this problem can be. I have read some posts mentioning similar problems but nothing seems to work. when I am in Illustrator CS5 I can not use my space bar as the quick hand, I can not make constrained sizing of objects, I cant even ctrl-z for “undo”. I CAN hit H and make it a hand then move it then select something else, but tbh it just not natural to have to do that.

I NEEEED my ctrl-z undo and my space bar quick hand, its just annoying if I don’t have it. I have tried closing everything (including firefox) and restarting, and reinstalling, and resetting my keycuts. If I use Photoshop CS5 ALL these features work just fine (ctrlz undo, quick hand space bar, etc) they all work in Photoshop they only DON’T work in Illustrator, I really just am at a loss, it seems like something is goofy in Illustrator but what would it be and how would i fix it?

like I mentioned I already uninstalled and reinstalled, and didnt help, I closed everything, I even changed my batterys in my keyboard. its Windows version and its CS5, it seemed to just happen out of the blue, I use to use CS5 just fine on this computer with all short cuts working just fine. any suggestions would be great

    Thanks
    -Rich
