    Hello
I am creating a website, I have created some text in illustrator which I have exploded into outlines. I have then added shading to the inside of the text. How can I export the text ONLY with no background of outline into front page?

    Any help would be great

    Many thanks

    Raj

Could you File/Save for Web, as GIF or PNG? Make sure Transparency is checked in the web export interface.
If you use PNG, you should run the image through PNGOptimizer or similar app, to strip the gamut info from the file.
Also with PNG, you might want to look into the IE6 PNG Transparency issue.
It’s often easier to just use a GIF, and set the appropriate matte color.
