  Large Text document Highlighted Text Flickering

  I have a large document that I’ve copied and pasted into Illustrator to make a credit roll, I have AI CS4 and when I have the text highlighted everything starts flickering a lot, and it’s causing me to have seizures… Not seriously, but it could and it’s really annoying and hard to work with, is their something that can be done about this or is it a BUG? If it is a bug, is anyone else having this problem?

  I’m not exactly sure what this issue may be. I’ve also had issues with huge text fields before.
  Can you break the text field into smaller fields?
  This ‘flicker’ sounds like a display refresh phenomenon.
  If you just want to hide the flicker you could View/Hide Edges, but than you’ll lose other goodies, like the text cursor and bounding boxes.

  Just some ideas.
