  reducing size of eps in AI CS4

  I have been given some .eps files with artwork that i need to bring into After Effects. I have converted the files to .AI but trying to open them in AE is causing a problem…seems the artwork is 14000 pixels square which AE won’t open – even with 8gb of ram!

  I have tried to find a way to shrink the document down in Illustrator but I can’t figure out how to do it. I know its a piece of cake in Photoshop, but i rarely use Illustrator, so i’d really appreciate a little guidance please.

  thanks Del…i had resorted to that method, but i was hoping there was something like photoshops Image Size button.
