Activity Forums Adobe Illustrator Help on how to create a 3D image in Illustrator

    Firs u need a bitmapped image of the topside (the N logo).Place thsi image into Illustrator. Teh if the image is linkes, use the links palette to embed the image. Then drag the image into your symbol palette and give it a nade (eg: top)

    Then in illustrator draw a cricle and choose Effect >> 3D >> Extrude & Bevel. Then click on map art, and choose the symobol , then choose which surface you wnat it ot go on (I hate this part cause you have a hard time telling the back from the front).

    Besides changing some settings such as the bevel type and height, you shoudl have what you need.
