I am using AI to create logos. For example the logo is retangular shape with blue background. When I place that logo in another document with same blue background. I see the white outline of the logo. How can remove that white outline so the logo blend in with the rest of the document?

    Thanks

Its likely a stroke on your rectangular path. Highlight the rectangle–open the stroke window and set stroke to 0.

Are you placing the Illustrator file in InDesign?
If yes, go to VIEW…HIDE FRAME EDGES.
    See if that helps.
    cheers,

    Oh, ok.
In Illustrator, before you save the logo, go to EFFECT….RASTER EFFECT SETTINGS.
In the Options check CREATE CLIPPING MASK around the logo. Make sure the “add … around object is set to ZERO.
    Maybe that’ll work.
    cheers,
    Adi
