  Illustrator path

  Hi

  I’m not very familiar with illustrator.I’m trying to create this “blade”shape as shown in Rick’s tutorial(4th.image)

  That is what i have so far

  The red shape has its own path as well as each blue circles have.So i’ve got 4 paths.
  how can i join this 4 paths together to form the final “blade”shape?

  Ideally (here), you’d want 2 blue objects and four red objects, created by the Divide operation.
  It looks like you’ll need to chop off the the three pointed corners with the Knife Tool, if Divide didn’t perform the cut.
  Once your corners are removed and you have the final form, you’ll select all of the components and press Alt+Pathfinder/Add to Shape Area – or, Add to Shape Area than Expand.
  This will make a unified shape.
